What to look for in a Christian budgeting app
Does giving have a place in the budget?
Some apps treat tithing as a budget category, so you plan for it first. Others leave it to you to add. Look at how an app handles giving before you start.
Bank sync or manual entry?
Bank sync saves typing. Manual entry keeps your bank login to yourself and makes you look at every purchase. Neither is right for everyone.
Debt snowball or avalanche?
The snowball pays the smallest balance first. The avalanche pays the highest interest rate first. If you carry debt, pick an app that helps you see the plan.
What does free really include?
All three apps have a free way to start. Try the free version first, then decide whether a paid plan is worth it.
Teaching or just a tool?
Some apps come with teaching, devotionals and community. Others are simply a tool with Scripture alongside. Think about which you will actually use.

Faithful Finances vs EveryDollarPaying off debt
The snowball pays your smallest balance first, and the avalanche pays the highest interest rate first. Faithful Finances shows your balances as either plan. Ramsey Solutions made the snowball widely known and offers a free calculator. We did not verify FaithFi's debt tools. For the faith side of getting free, read Faith-Based Financial Freedom.
Tithing and giving in a budget
Many believers plan their giving first and budget the rest. In Faithful Finances, tithing is a budget category. Our guide on budgeting with biblical principles walks through the idea whichever app you pick.
